DISCOVERING BULGARIA , part 2...

DISCOVERING BULGARIA , part 2...

Hello friends! Today there will be a continuation of the publication about Bulgaria . We are moving from the depths of the country, as we discussed earlier, to the seashore! So, the Black Sea coast is quite voluminous, but the most famous places are resorts near the city of Varna (Albena, Golden Sands) and near the city of Burgas (Sunny Beach, Primorsko, Sozopol, Nessebar). Since I currently live in Burgas, we will talk about this region.

Or rather, even about one resort town, incredibly beautiful and my favorite place, namely about Sozopol. The city is located on a peninsula, and is the oldest Bulgarian city on the Black Sea coast. It was founded in the 6th century BC by Greek colonizers. I don't know how to explain the special amazing atmosphere of this place...It's not just that it's very beautiful here. : old houses, narrow cobbled streets, stunning sea views, a beautiful beach and a huge number of cafes and restaurants. Sozopol has a special aura, it's not for nothing that it's a favorite place of Bulgarian bohemians, by the way :) It is very strange, but Sozopol is not as widely known in Russia as the Sunny Beach resort, for example, which is a terrible injustice! :) That is why I decided to tell you about Sozopol, perhaps this information will be useful to someone, given the height of the summer season...Now, enough words, just look at this beauty...

Don't miss the opportunity to visit another beautiful place - Ravadinovo Castle is located near Sozopol. Created by a local patron of the arts, it is a very unusual place. Here you will find a huge, majestic castle, a beautiful territory with a pond and peacocks walking freely here and there, a small living area with llamas, goats, etc. All this is a very interesting sight :)

Thank you for your attention!
