MUST VISIT PLACES IN YEREVAN : Cafes, Resraurants, Museum ...
Hi, friends! If you never visited Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, but plan to do it, than this podt will be usefull for you. I will sgare with you the best places that we have visited during our long stay (some months) in this city.
Let's start with CITY PLACES , that I suggest you to visit first of all . Here they are:
● Central Republic Square with fountains
● Cascade (amazing panoramic view, original architecture, if there is sunny weather with no clouds then you will see Ararat mountain , like on my photo below)
● walk on Severniy Avenue from Central Republic Square to Opera
● small but cute Diana Abgar Park (or anotger name Seasons Park)
MUSEUMS : there are quite a lot of museums here in Yerevan , but must see (in my opinion) are :
● National Gallery of Armenia . Fundamental, adorable place where you will find both Art Museum with unique collections of Art and Historical Museum. It's big (6 or 7 floors, sorry forget exact number) , so you can spend here 3-4 hours at least to see all these treasures...
● and another one is opposite - snall, cute house - museum of Art of Martiros Sarian. This is very important person for Armenia, world wide famous. His painting is full of colors, positive , easy for understanding. I have very pleasant impressions after this museum visit.
CAFES & RESTAURANTS : Yerevan is full of cafes and restaurants with traditional armenian or international food. So gourmans will got a great pleasure here. My favorites are:
● 'Cafe De Angelo' (very delucious imternational food and pleasant atmosphere, looks like traditional parisienne cafe/bistro )
● 'Mamma Mia' (awesome italian food, beautiful interior)
● 'Seasons Restaurant' (delicious food, especially desserts, and luxury interior)
● 'Fein cafe' (good stylush interior cafe with attraction of "flying" coffee beans in transparent tubes)
● 'Paul' (part of famous french cafes group , have some adresses in Yerevan, expensive but with chic vibes)
● 'Surf Coffee' (we enjoyed awesome limonades during hot August days)
Thank you for your attention!
