LA VIE EST BELLE IRIS ABSOLU LANCOME review...

My dear perfumelovers! Today I will share with you my opinion about one sweet, cozy and vibrant perfume. Which is just perfect for these cold winter days. I'm talking about LA VIE EST BELLE IRIS ABSOLU.

Are there people who are not indifferent to perfumes who do not know and have not tried the fragrance of La Vie Est Belle? After all, this is one of those pillars that support the gourmet perfume world :) And, of course, in addition to the legendary original one, Lancome often creates flankers with various nuances and additions. About one of these flankers (my favorite) I'll tell you in this post.

LA VIE EST BELLE IRIS ABSOLU was launched in 2023 , noses behind are Dominique Ropinion and Anne Flipo. It belongs to the group of floral fruit and sweet. Main chords: iris, fruity, woody, sweet.

Why did I single out Iris absolue as my favorite of the La Vie est Belle flankers that I tried? I can hear and like the note of iris here, the shade of lipstick and powderiness that it brings. It is this reference to "perfume lipstick" that makes this flanker stand out. Also, there is no burnt sugar note in this fragrance, which bothers me in the flagship, and patchouli is softer here (again, compared to the flagship, patchouli is a little camphor in my opinion). Of course, Iris Absolue is very sweet, but this sweetness is not monotonous, it sounds softer, there is a reference to the aroma of some kind of pastry/ dessert with berries (something like panakota). The fragrance is rich and plume-like, but not flashy, not annoying during the day. Interestingly, I don't feel the declared note of figs here at all (although my nose usually immediately highlights it in perfumes), perhaps it merges with other notes and creates the very nuance of a pastry dessert.

I don't use this perfume every day, otherwise such an intensity of sound will tire me, but periodically it goes off with a bang, and not only in winter, but also in very warm weather.

Being a lover of perfume miniatures, I preferred this format for this fragrance. The perfume is so sweet and concentrated that I realize that I should never use even 30 ml. And applying a miniature namaz closes my needs for perfumery sweetness and aromas of this orientation, there is no difference in sound, even when applied with namaz, the fragrance is rich, persistent and plumes. It looks charming, completely repeating the appearance of the bottle.
