THREE WAYS TO COMBINE PIECES FROM YOUR WARDROBE...
Hello friends! I'm sure the questions are "how to combine things? " , "what to wear with what ?" and "how to choose beautiful color combinations ? ”they go through your head quite often. It's really not easy, so today let's discuss three ways that will help solve these dilemmas.
THE FIRST WAY : Take one color in 2 tones (lighter and darker), and add another color to it. For example, we take blue and dark blue and add green to them. To make it clearer, I made illustrations in Polyvore. :
In this case, we complement the different tones of green with purple.:
two shades of gray + red :
two shades of blue + emerald :
THE THIRD WAY : This is not so much a way to combine colors, but rather to select a wardrobe (its basic part), and it consists in the following: take some existing set of things from your wardrobe, let's say a standard beige sweater, jeans, beige ankle boots and a gray bag :
We get the following color scheme: beige - gray - blue. We find a picture of a color palette containing the colors mentioned above. There are a lot of pictures, for example, I chose this one. :
And we're looking at what other colors suit ours. In this case, it is brick, salmon, dark purple and lilac. We complement our wardrobe with things of these colors, the goal is to combine things with each other and a minimum number of purchases, which nevertheless will allow us to make quite a few sets. The standard is 3 tops, 2 bottoms, 2 handbags, 1 accessory (say, a scarf), this is certainly the minimum, but even it will allow you to have sets of different styles and for different situations in your wardrobe.
I suggest the following purchases :
And now let's see what sets can be made from the existing set of things...
But let's not forget that outerwear is necessary, which also diversifies your sets. In this case, I suggest these 2 options - they are in different styles, respectively, can be used for different situations...
I hope you have understood the principle of all three ways of choosing clothes, of course you can improvise, I just wrote about the basics that can help you on this difficult path of making a wardrobe :)
Thank you for your attention!
