SKIN CARE ROUTINE : my rules.

SKIN CARE ROUTINE : my rules.

Hello friends! It makes no sense to talk about how important skin care is (today we are only talking about facial skin)...All of us, by trial and error, are looking for those ways of care that would be most effective and would allow the skin to look great, shine with health and stay in excellent condition for a long time. Expensive creams are not a panacea, because it's not just about what we smear ourselves with, it's equally important to properly prepare the skin for care products so that it gets the most benefit, as well as provide proper daily care. Today I would like to share the rules of care that I adhere to myself, and which have proven their effectiveness.

I am not an expert and I do not pretend to be the ultimate truth, I just read a lot of material on this topic written by professionals in the field of care, and as I said, everything described below has been tested on myself. These are general rules, perhaps you know something, but not, and today we are talking only about methods of care, without going into details about the means of care, for this I have separate posts. 1. Twice a day! Cleansing - Tonic - Moisturizing (cream or serum) . Even if you have spent the whole day at home, you must adhere to this rule, as you understand that the skin is polluted not only by contact with the external environment. We clean the feces, then apply a tonic - it will complete the cleansing process, moisturizes, tones and better prepares for further care. Then - moisturizing (at the age of 30, I don't use anti-aging products yet, so I'm focused on moisturizing). To do this, I use either a moisturizer or a serum - I mostly apply it in the evening, not in the morning. Some experts say that it is worth applying a serum, and then a cream in addition to it. But I only use one of the two. And do not forget to apply a special cream for the area around the eyes - this delicate area certainly requires its own separate care product. By the way, eye patches are also good, I use them from time to time, but not daily.

2. Giving up face towels! Just paper napkins. Gently dry the skin with them, get wet, not three. The cause is bacteria, which later become the cause. redness, pimples, acne, skin irritation. Even frequent towel changes will not solve this problem, so we act radically - we refuse towels altogether. There is a nice box of disposable paper napkins in my bathroom, it took literally 1-2 days to get used to using them instead of reaching for a towel - now it's completely natural for me. I've been following this rule for 3 months now, and I see that my skin, which is prone to irritation and redness, has really become "calmer".

3. Wash off the cosmetics with special micellar water, and then wash the whole face with the usual cleanser. How many times have I been convinced that even a good cleanser does not remove cosmetics by 100%, so I prefer to make the cleansing process 2-step: micellar water removes cosmetics, cleanser removes all skin impurities. 4. Regular change of care products. Experts say that the skin tends to get used to care products, which reduces their effectiveness. This is especially true for creams. Therefore, even if I am very happy with the cream or serum, I still do not use several jars in a row, I prefer to diversify the products. 5. Don't forget about the neck! Here it is, the "Achilles heel" of women :) I'm sure you know that it's the neck that gives away age and sometimes creates a very unfortunate contrast with the well-groomed skin of the face... And, despite the fact that this is a well-known fact, many people forget about neck skin care. It's simple, the principle is that what's on the face is on the neck. That is, we clean the face - the same with the neck, apply tonic and cream - the same is applied to the skin of the neck. By the way, in this context it is worth remembering the decollete area. But if cleansing, as such, occurs nevertheless in the process of washing the body, then moisturizing and care are combined with the care of the face and neck. Do not regret the tonic and cream for the decollete area, the skin there is quite thin and such care will only be a plus! 6. Additional care : face masks 1-2 times a week (whether they are masks for deeper hydration, radiance or cleansing, with clay, for example), scrub or peeling for the face 1 time a week - all this goes in addition to the basic care, and helps our skin to preserve beauty and youth.

I hope this post was interesting and usefull for you...
Thank you for your attention !
