BALTIC SEA, CATS , AMBER... ...ZELENOGRADSK (KRANZ)

Hi, everyone! Today I wold like to show you wonderful little town, which seems to be from fayrytales, so cute and beautiful. Located on the cost of Baltic sea, this town is famouse for amber, cats graffiti , colored cute houses ...

And it called ZELENOGRADSK! Until 1947 year it called KRANZ and was a part of Prussia (Germany), but after a war the whole Kaliningrad region became a part of Russia , and the name was changed. It was a resort on the Baltic Sea and nowdays it is still a resort and place that attracts a lot of tourists. And it is really deserves such popularity, and I will sow you why.

Firts of all, you can feel this frsh salty air from BALTIC SEA! And see these amasing sea views. Baltic Sea is considered to be not appropriate for swimming because it is cold, but believe me during july-august this is warm enough for swimming and you can see a lot of people on the beach.

The next point is ARCHITECTURE. Zelenogradsk saves germain style and aesthetics , besides there are some colored houses. I adore to walk here and look around...Also there are so many cute cafe and restaurants with tasty local and international food!

Local authorities wanted to add uniqueness and came up with the theme of cats! Everywhere you can see original graffiti , homeless cats are taken care of , and a town is full of lazy happy cats :) CAT is a symbol of Zelenogradsk.

Also don't forget about another symbol of Baltic sea - AMBER! There are plenty of shops (big and small), where you can buy souvenirs, jewelry and even beauty products from amber. 

So , Zelenogradsk is so amasing, that I recommend everyone to come here and enjoy these vibes , unique atmosphere and beautiful surroundings! I sure you will love this place from the first sight as I do.
