MON GUERLAIN : adorable duo of vanilla and lavender... 

Greetings to all! Today I wanted to tell you about one of my favorite fragrances. At first I had a branded miniature, I looked at it and sniffed :) But in the end, olfactory love happened, and now I have a bottle of 30 ml. It's about the sweet Mon Guerlain edp from Guerlain.

MON GUERLAIN EDP was launched in 2017 and belongs to the Oriental wood group. Perfumer Thierry Wasser (most of Guerlain's fragrances were created by him) and Delphine Jelk. Main notes: vanilla, lavender, woody, powdery.

For me, this is vanilla soothing bliss! For a long time I was confused by the note of lavender in the pyramid, in the end I can't say that I hear it clearly, rather, it gives a certain background roughness and tartness, and prevents it from rolling into vanilla compote. And in general, I won't call this perfume sweet, it's rather powdery, I don't hear colors in it. What surprises and pleases me is that I hear... dried cherries in this perfume. Apparently, the combination of some notes (most likely coumarin with licorice) creates such an illusion, and it is very pleasant. In this way, Mon Guerlain reminds me of the old Gloria perfume from Cacharel, which I had about 15-17 years ago, and then I adored it precisely for this combination of vanilla and dried cherries. At the beginning of the article, I mentioned that my love with Mon Guerlain did not happen immediately, and it was because I tried (and nurtured for a while) a version of eau de toilette. In eau de toilette, in my opinion, the pyramid is a little truncated and the fragrance does not sound so bright and gentle, but more sharply, this pushed me away and I did not approach the main version in eau de parfum for a long time. But in the end, after purchasing the miniature edp, I just fell in love with the fragrance, and ran to get the bottle. Now I'm wearing it and I'm lying :) The fragrance is complimentary, if you are interested in this indicator, both from men/women and from the child :) My daughter says that I want to hug all the time when I smell this perfume.

The perfume has good sillage and longevity. Moreover, I have this perfume in the format of a spray in a bottle, and in miniature, from which I apply namaz, so nothing changes from the method of application in this case, a loud perfume, the plume of which is audible and noticeable (and more than once marked with compliments). I can feel it clearly for about 6 hours. I can't classify myself as one of those who strictly divide fragrances by season, but perhaps this is important to someone, and from this point of view, the perfume is more winter, and for the cold autumn / spring, due to its "warming" and dense notes.
