EYE AREA SKIN CARE ROUTINE : cream + patches...

EYE AREA SKIN CARE ROUTINE : cream + patches...

Hello friends! I often write about my facial skin care products, but I have never shared with you the products that I use to care for the most delicate and vulnerable area on my face - the area around the eyes. I think it's unnecessary to remind you that being very thin, the skin in the eye area requires special care - you know that without me. Today I will share two favorite products that are used to care for and give radiance and freshness to this area. So, two products: eye cream + patches...

MY CREAM : To be more precise, not a cream, but a serum. The product is called PINK VITAL WATER EYE SERUM from the Korean beauty brand ETUDE HOUSE. The serum contains peach extract and vitamins A, C, and E. The consistency is something between gel and cream. I use it 2 times a day, morning and evening on cleansed skin, applied with light patting movements. What you like : the main thing, of course, is that it does not cause allergies or irritation. Since the area is very delicate, do not forget to test it first when buying a new product, applying a very small amount to the area around the eyes - for high-quality creams, the risk of causing allergies, redness and irritation is minimal, of course, but it is better to be safe. I really like how the area around the eyes becomes noticeably fresher after application, feels hydrated and comfortable. If, say, after a serious lack of sleep, bags form under the eyes, then the serum will not completely solve the problem, something more serious like patches is needed here, but it will cheer up the skin and refresh the look. And I also like the convenient applicator, you squeeze out the amount you need, I don't like jars when you have to climb with your finger...not hygienic, however. I give the serum a solid "five", as a daily eye care product it works perfectly.

MY PATCHES : And now about more "heavy artillery" :) Eye patches are a deeper-acting remedy than cream, they are not daily care, they are a good and effective express care. I tried the patches myself not so long ago, and, you know, I like it! I use it when necessary - when there are obvious swellings or there is going to be, say, some special evening, a trip to a restaurant, guests. Patches come in different types: gel, fabric. The ones I use are the FERMENT SNAIL EYE MASK from the Korean brand Tonymoly, gel with snail slime! Snail mucus is generally often used in Korean cosmetics, and its moisturizing and nourishing properties are valuable. So these patches are designed to nourish and moisturize the skin around the eyes, relieve swelling, plus I even noticed a slight lifting effect. It is very simple to use: apply patches to the pre-cleansed skin on the area under the eyes (with the wide side to the bridge of the nose), they should be on the skin for 20-30 minutes - it is better to lie down at this time, rather than walk, so that the patches do not shift, and then remove, with light tapping movements, we drive excess funds into the skin, nothing We wash it off. For a long time (for example, at night), it makes no sense to leave them, firstly, it is not convenient, and secondly, patches give off all their useful properties immediately and 20 minutes is enough to get the desired effect. If you haven't tried it yet, try it, and I'm sure patches will become frequent guests in your makeup bag.
