GUCCI MEMOIRE D’UNE ODEUR : meditation in a bottle...
A courage step of Gucci, a perfume that runs counter to the generally accepted trends of luxury perfumes. A perfume that doesn't try to please, doesn't try to seduce or attract anyone. And this is Gucci Memoires d'une Froideur perfume. In this post I will share my impressions of this fragrance.
GUCCI Memoire d'une Odeur was launched in 2019, the nose behind is Alberto Morillas . Main accords are herbal, woody and floral.
Perhaps the main factor that has stirred up a wave of discussion about this fragrance is the main note in the pyramid, namely chamomile. This is not the first fragrance in history to use chamomile in the pyramid, but it is perhaps the first time that we have decided to put it at the forefront. This played a crucial role for me, as it was the very clear-sounding chamomile in a duet with almonds (and I also feel the echoes of jasmine) that created an unforgettable perfume for me, which I literally can't get enough of!
The herbal, meditative, cozy cocoon that I feel is, without exaggeration, necessary for me to put my thoughts in order, calm my breathing, and relax. I don't think this perfume is just for the home, it's a perfume with a capital letter, and I'm very happy to wear it outside the house, in public (and I get a lot of compliments, it's not the most important thing, but still nice). Memoires d'une Froideur sends me back to nature… It is like a peaceful walk along the fields, when the smell of mown grass and hay is wafted, a light floral scent from jasmine bushes growing nearby, when the air itself is saturated with tranquility and harmony. I can feel this perfume water clearly for about three hours, then a light creamy fleur remains on the skin.
And the bottle! This deep and mysterious green color of the glass, the faceted bottle with a slight retro reference, the gold cap with the Gucci engraving, all together is the perfect complement (or continuation) of the fragrance itself, my inner aesthete rejoices ...:))
Thank you for your attention!
