OUR SPONTANEOUS TRIP TO YEREVAN, ARMENIA.

OUR SPONTANEOUS TRIP TO YEREVAN, ARMENIA...

The autumn of 2024 turned out to be rich in trips. But if the trip to Bulgaria (Burgas), which I wrote about earlier, was planned, then we went to Armenia very spontaneously, due to some changes in the route... It was all the more interesting to explore Yerevan, especially since this city left very fond memories!

So, we flew to Yerevan from Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, and it is close and convenient to fly. A couple of days before the trip, I booked an apartment at booking.con, in the city center, on Aroma Street, so that everything was within walking distance and it was convenient to walk.

As it turned out upon arrival, I chose a very good location, and the apartments too, comfortable, responsive host, everything is thought out to the smallest detail and made for the convenience of visitors. There was a beautiful park right in front of the apartment building, with these "statues" made of artificial grass.

During the 10 days of our stay in Yerevan, we walked a lot, the youngest daughter slept in a stroller, and the eldest explored the city with me. And speaking about my children, I cannot help but recall the universal love of Armenians for children! How many compliments I received, how many times people looked at us with emotion and a smile, my youngest daughter, my smiley face with big blue eyes, made a special splash, she was 8 months old at that time. Armenians are a very hospitable people, always ready to help, prompt and go to a meeting (I am writing from our experience and the situations we have encountered). People are relaxed, positive, and open to communication. You can explain yourself in Russian anywhere and everywhere. The impressions are only positive! As for the city itself, Yerevan is interesting, there are many beautiful places, cozy cafes, restaurants, it is impossible not to mention pulpulaks (fountains with clean drinking water can be found throughout the city, Armenia is famous for its clean water). And what else pleasantly surprised me was the flowers! There are flower shops or stalls with lots of flowers on every corner. It's so beautiful!

As for the food, this is, of course, a separate delight! Delicious, fresh food, a huge variety of everything on the menu and in the shops. Our favorite khachapuri, khinkali, baklava, fermented milk drink tan, onion, sweet sujukh (similar to churchkhella, but called differently) and much more. I haven't always had the opportunity to take photos, unfortunately, so there aren't many of them, but to be honest, I really wanted to photograph food all the time! :))

To be objective, I think it's worth mentioning the disadvantages. There aren't many of them for me. : 1. Air pollution in Yerevan, at least in the center, people prone to allergies (like me) They'll feel it right away. 2. It's noisy because of the cars, there are a lot of cars, often traffic jams. Well, maybe it seemed noisy to us, since we don't live in a big city all the time, maybe this impression was created by contrast. 3. Real estate prices (rent) and a certain house in the organization of real estate agencies, their work on finding apartments. Well, prices are objectively very high, this is a fact, but as for real estate agencies, maybe we were unlucky, we thought as an option to stay and rent an apartment for a couple of months, but it didn't work out. Well, maybe another time. Although it was spontaneous, the trip to Yerevan turned out to be very interesting, there were a lot of pleasant impressions and memories, and I think we will come to Armenia in the future :)

Thank you for your attention !
