Like This Etat Libre D'Orange : my signature scent.

Greetings, friends! Today it's about perfumes. And this is not just a new fragrance in the collection, this is my perfume self at the moment (I admit that this may change, but for now I can't get enough of this fragrance!).

According to tradition, I will write a few words about the perfume itself. Tilda Swinton Like This by Etat Libre D'Orange was launched in 2010 by perfumer Mathilde Bijou, with the participation of the stunning dramatic actress Tilda Swinton mentioned in the title. The fragrance belongs to the floral group, as indicated on the phragrantica, but to be honest, I would rather identify it as a fougere...Main notes: herbal, fresh spicy, citrus.

And now my feelings about the fragrance, and why exactly did it sink so deeply into my soul, became my perfume self? This is an absolutely unique scent, in my opinion, I have never seen anything like it! It's very herbal, but in a perfumery sense, not just a natural scent. The immortelle note (one of my favorite notes ever) makes the fragrance very deep, meditative, mysterious, and a little smoky... At the same time, the freshly spicy note of pumpkin and the freshness of orange (tangerine) do not allow the fragrance to slip into a simple dusty herbal smell. The fragrance is also "invigorating" with a note of ginger, which, by the way, I also love in perfumes for its piquancy, the feeling of a slight tickle in the nose. This is also present here. Well, and the rose, which, though hinted at, is still guessed, as if it brings all of the above together, making the composition more perfumery than just natural.

And this whole incredible mix of notes just turned my head! The fragrance touches some strings of my soul, maybe some memories and associations that I cannot comprehend. But when I wear Like This from ELDO on my skin, it's like all the pieces of a puzzle come together, I can clearly feel the fragrance throughout the day, but at the same time it's a part of me, not something foreign, separate. Technical specifications are excellent! I also like the form factor, a stylish bottle with a gold lid. And the orange packaging perfectly matches the spirit of the fragrance. I am very glad that I found this fragrance for myself. They don't talk much about it, it's not at the peak of popularity, it's rude on the one hand, but on the other, it probably should be, this perfume doesn't try to please, it doesn't follow trends, it's not fast fashion, it's unique, mysterious, strange, for those who understand and feel it.
