TRIP TO ROMANIA, BUCHAREST...

TRIP TO ROMANIA, BUCHAREST...

Hello friends! I thought, why not dilute my blog with travel stories? After all, the external beauty that we talk about so much here doesn't make sense without a rich inner world, and traveling is a great way to learn and find inspiration... Calculating at my leisure how many countries I have visited so far, it turned out to be 14...It's not that bad. I will share some of my travels, but I will try not to talk about very common tourist routes, such as Barcelona, etc., but rather about slightly less popular ones. I would like to start with the country and the city, which cause very mixed reviews from tourists, and after reading them on the Internet before the trip, the feelings were twofold.

The Balkan countries, including Romania, are associated by many with poverty, ruin, and a low standard of living. And there's nothing to see, and it's a super budget vacation. It is a pity that not everyone is ready to open their hearts to such an unconventionally beautiful, with their own characteristics, color, countries, and look around a little more closely, without being distracted by stereotypes and some kind of neglect. Yes, unkempt is a very appropriate word, there is no gloss in them, but they definitely have a soul...Which, by the way, I don't always feel in the so-called civilized European countries (my subjective opinion)...
We went to Romania, Bucharest, for the weekend, and unfortunately, apart from the city itself, we did not have time to see the castles and many other interesting things in the surrounding area, but I hope to do this in the future. Bucharest, as you may know, is called the "Paris of the east" because of the similarity of architecture, and I was very interested to find out if this was really the case - I visited Paris, and I can compare it. And yes, there are definitely similarities! Often the architecture in the historical center really resembles that of Paris, everything is very fundamental, elegant, and beautiful. The only thing about Bucharest is that next to such beauty you can see some kind of dilapidated building...Yes, this is not uncommon here. But I can't say that it spoils my impression of the city. This is exactly the "unkemptness" that I mentioned above. These are the Balkan countries. But Bucharest cannot be denied a variety of delicious establishments, beautiful parks, cute old buildings, and a pleasant atmosphere... By the way, Bukharset, like Rome, is located on seven hills and, like Paris, it has its own Arc de triomphe. The majestic building of the National Bank of Romania.

Herastrau Park is the largest park in the north of the city, located around the lake of the same name...

Graffiti is very common...

Appreciate the dramatic sky above the Ceausescu Palace. Ceausescu Palace is the world's largest civilian administrative building, the largest parliament building (with an area of 350,000 square meters and a volume of 2,550,000 square meters), as well as the heaviest building in the world.

The Church of Croculescu is one of the most interesting sights of Bucharest...

One of the most beautiful old streets of the city, Strada Lipscani, is located in the center of Bucharest, where you can find a huge number of restaurants, cafes, and beautiful old buildings....

Here is a little trip around Bucharest, I hope you were interested!
See you!
